This Cookie Policy explains how Jive AI LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with flightplan.run and any other website that we own or control and which posts or links to this Cookie Policy (collectively, the “Sites”).
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies serve different purposes, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving your browsing experience.
Our Sites may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer or mobile device until you delete them). Cookies can be first-party (served directly by us) or third-party (served by service providers on our Sites).
What cookies do we use?
The Sites use essential cookies — cookies that are necessary for the technical operation of the Sites — and analytics cookies, which help us understand how the Sites are used and how they perform. We do not use advertising or social media cookies, and no cookie on the Sites tracks you across other websites for advertising purposes.
| Type | Description | Who serves them | How to control them |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential — authentication | Keep you signed in and secure your session as you move around the app (for example, session cookies such as __session and __client_uat). | Clerk, our sign-in provider (privacy policy) | Browser settings; blocking these cookies prevents signing in. |
| Essential — bot protection | Distinguish people from automated traffic on public features, such as the workflow suggestion demo on our home page. | Cloudflare Turnstile (privacy policy) | Browser settings; blocking these cookies may prevent those features from working. |
| Analytics | Help us understand how the Sites are used and how they perform — pages viewed, features used, page-load and responsiveness metrics, errors, and session replays (see below) — so we can improve the product (for example, cookies and browser storage with names beginning ph_). When you are signed in, this activity is associated with your account. | PostHog, our analytics provider, on servers in the United States (privacy policy) | The opt-out below, the “Opt out of analytics” button on our cookie banner, or browser settings. |
Session replay
As part of our analytics, we use PostHog’s session replay to record users’ interactions with the Sites in a manner that allows us to watch replays of those sessions. The replays include users’ clicks, mouse movements, scrolls, and the pages viewed during those sessions. The content you type into input fields is masked before it leaves your browser and is not captured in replays. These replays help us diagnose usability problems and identify areas for improvement. Opting out of analytics (see Your choices below) also stops session replay.
Browser web storage
We use browser web storage (such as localStorage) for similar purposes as cookies — for example, to remember interface preferences, to remember that you have dismissed our cookie notice, and to hold the identifiers our analytics provider uses. This data is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Your web browser may provide functionality to clear your browser web storage.
Your choices
Opting out of analytics. You can opt out of analytics at any time using the control below, or with the “Opt out of analytics” button on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Opting out stops both analytics collection and session replay. Your choice is stored in your browser, so you will need to apply it in each browser and on each device you use, and clearing your browser data will reset it. Opting out does not affect essential cookies or your ability to use the Sites.
Blocking cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings; many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will break parts of the Sites — most notably, you will not be able to sign in or stay signed in. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies or social media cookies, and session replays never capture what you type. If we ever introduce a new category of cookies or tracking, we will update this Cookie Policy and the cookie banner before doing so.
